Sab se aola wa aala hamara Nabi
Sab se baala wa waala hamara Nabi

Apne Moula ka pyara hamara Nabi
Dono aalam ka Dulha ha hamara Nabi

Bazme Aakhir ka Shama faroza huwa
Noore awwal ka jalwa hamara Nabi

Buj gayi jis ke aage sabhi mash’ale
Shamma woh lekeh aaya hamara Nabi

Jis ke talwon ka dhowan he aabe Hayaat
Hai woh jaane Maseeha hamara Nabi

Khalq se Awliya Awliya se Rusul
Aur Rasoolon se aala hamara Nabi

Jaise sab ka Khuda ek he waise hi
In ka un ka thumhara hamara Nabi

Kawn deta he dene ko muh chahiye
Dene waala he sacha hamara Nabi

Kya khabar kitne taare khile chhup gaye
Par na doobe na dooba hamara Nabi

Saare ooncho meh ooncha samajhye jise
Hai oos oonche se ooncha hamara Nabi

Ghum zadoh ko Raza muzda dije ke he
Be kason ka sahara hamara Nabi

woh su’ey laalah zaar phirtey haiN
tere din ay bahaar phirtey haiN
He is coming towards the tulip-fields
Your fortune, O’ Spring, is about to shine!

jo terey dar se yaar phirtey haiN
dar ba dar yuN hi khaar phirtey haiN
Those who turn away from your gate, Beloved
Wander aimlessly, disgraced, from door to door

aah kal `aysh to kiye hum ne
aaj woh be qaraar phirtey haiN

Alas! We spent our yesterdays seeking pleasure
And today he is anxious on our behalf!
[note: this is a description of Judgement Day. The Messenger
is concerned about the welfare of His Ummah!]

har charaaghe mazaar par qudsee
kaysa parwaanah waar phirtey haiN
At every lamp around his tomb
Angels do throng like moths!

us gali kaa gadaa huN maiN jis meiN
maangtey taajdaar phirtey haiN
I’m a beggar of that alley in which
Even kings wander like beggars!

jaan haiN jaan kyaa nazar aaye
kyuN `adu gird e ghaar phirtey haiN
They are as the soul; why should they be visible?
The enemies wander pointlessly around the cave!

phuul kyaa dekhuN meri aankhoN meiN
dasht e taybah ke khaar phirtey haiN
How can I notice the flowers? In my eyes
Are swimming the thorns of Madina’s dust.

laakhoN qudsi haiN kaam e khidmat par
laakhoN gird e mazaar phirtey haiN
Countless angels are there as servants
Countless angels circumambulate the Tomb

rakhiye jaise haiN khaana zaad haiN hum
mol ke `ayb daar phirtey haiN
Accept us however we are, for we are of thy nation
Many such worthy sinners do wander here!

haay ghaafil woh kyaa jagaah hai jahaaN
paanch jaatey haiN chaar phirtey haiN
Ah! What place is that O’ one who is drowned in this world?
Where five go, four return!

[Note : it means the one who is deceased and the four who actually lift the deceased on their shoulders while going to the graveyard and after funereal only four people come back burrying  the fifth one , so here Ala Hazrat mentions the fifth person as "GHAFIL" who is ghafil or unaware from death.]

Karachi native Naseem Hameed won Gold medal in SAARC games in 100 meters sprint on Feb. 7 and returned home to Karachi to a great welcome today. This gives her the title of fastest lady in a region which includes some of the most populous countries of the word viz India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The 22-year-old clocked 11.81 seconds to clinch gold medal in the race in theSouth Asian Federation (SAF) Games Sunday, becoming Pakistan’s first female athlete to win the sprint in the competition’s 26-year history.

She returned to Pakistan today with hundreds of fans greeting her at the airport. In the following photo Naseem Hameed is seen with her parents on her return to Pakistan.

Dawn reports her talking to press and saying:

“I had forgotten the world for six months and trained really very, very hard under my coach Maqsood Ahmed to achieve this. It is a great moment for me to have brought glory to the country in my event after the poor showing by our national cricket team and especially since our athletics standards have been poor of late. I hope my performance will inspire the young athletes to become professionals.”

I agree with her statement that this is one positive news for Pakistan in sports after the recent cricket debacle.

About GHK

Hi, this is my online presence. About me is a tricky question to answer as I’m not always entirely sure who I am - from one moment to the next. In fact, all I'm certain of is that I'm not quite the same person as I was when I first arrived on this Planet Earth, all those years ago. Feel free to share your thoughts & leave your comments.
